The Navy has a Seasprite helicopter landing at Ngataringa Bay sports fields tomorrow (Friday) at 1030. It is landing to drop some people off and will only be on the ground for a short time.

Nervous readers who have perused the article on the artillery shell found in Cheltenham Rd can be assured the helicopter in question is in no way related to local resident Vince Flam.

I really appreciate forewarning of these events so I can plan accordingly. As I’m right on the flightpath between the base and the bay the noise can be ear splitting. At least knowing whether the disruption is going to be brief or drawn out means I can plan to leave or at least not make phone appointments during these times. Thanks
