In the wake of the earthquake last Tuesday, Takapuna Grammar’s prefect team have organised a number of novel ways to raise funds for Christchurch.

One of these is a Message in a Tree; this will be a community event where anyone in the community can come along, make a donation and write a message of support for the earthquake victims. The message will be strung up in a tree outside the ANZ building in Devonport.

The date has been set for this weekend (5th and 6th March, 9am – 7pm both days). All the money raised will go to the Red Cross for their Christchurch earthquake appeal.
