The Auckland Library and the NZ Society of Authors have jointly organised a series of read-ins by New Zealand writers as a fundraiser for the Christchurch earthquake. They will be held at libraries around Auckland on Friday March 25, at 6 pm.

There will be an event at the Devonport Library, featuring the current Michael King Writers’ Centre Writer in Residence, Nelson Wattie, together with local writers Terri Kessell, Sonja Yelich, Elaine King, Dee Pigneguy, and Julia Brannigan.

It was great, pity there weren’t more Devo residents there to listen to tales of drama, comedy, betrayl, horror, and malice. 🙂
Well done Sue and your library team for organizing a great listening spree! 🙂
