The VicDevonport’s  iconic Victoria Theatre and Picture Palace will be formally open over Labour weekend and everyone is invited to share in this historic event – which will include an aerial view of the crowd.

At 10am on Saturday 23rd October a march is planned down Victoria Road from the corner of Calliope Road, with a gathering outside THE VIC where an aerial group photo will be taken, framed and displayed in the VIC for future generations – PLAN TO BE THERE.

The doors will then open for everyone to see how wonderful our theatre now looks having been fully restored.

Movies will feature in the two theatres and local school and groups will entertain the public in the 180 seater main theatre over the day from 11am – 2.00pm.

The Trust have secured most acts BUT if anyone is interested in being part of the programme to perform for maximum 10 minutes please contact by no later than Friday 1st October.
